Snacking made simple as we ring in the new year 🥂 We’ve got an appealing appetizer you can put together in minutes. These warm marinated olives are incredibly aromatic and delicious – if you love olives, this is the antipasto dish for you!
Ingredients
- ½ cup Virgin Olive Oil – Olearia San Giorgio
- 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and sliced
- 2 tsp fennel seeds Â
- 2 tsp salted capers, rinsed Â
- Fresh Rosemary
- ½ cup Green Olives in Brine
- ½ cup Ottobratica Black Olives
- ½ cup Ottobratica Green Olives
- ½ cup Home Style Baked Olives
- Mandarin Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions:
- Pour Virgin Olive Oil into a medium frying pan over low heat.
- Immediately add the garlic, fennel seeds, and rosemary. Rinse the salted capers so very little salt remains, then add to the pan.
- Sauté for 1 minute or until fragrant. The garlic should not turn brown.
- Add the olives to the pan, stirring and coating them with the Virgin Olive Oil and herbs.
- Cover for three minutes.
- Remove the warm marinated olives from heat. Plate and finish with a generous drizzle of Mandarin Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil and fresh rosemary.
