Simple and rustic, this grilled bruschetta recipe will transport your taste buds to sunny Italy! Perfect as an appetizer or snack, this recipe is a must-try this summer.
Serves 3
Ingredients
- 6 slices of Tuscan bread (or 3 slices cut in half if the loaf is large)
- Garlic Fused Olive Oil – Sarafino
- Sea Salt
- Ciliegino Sweet Cherry Tomatoes – Sarafino
- Fresh basil, coarsely chopped
Directions
- Chop as many Ciliegino Cherry Tomatoes as desired and place into a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of Garlic Fused EVOO to bowl and toss tomatoes in olive oil until covered. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Toast the bread slices on a grill until golden-brown and lightly marked with grill lines. You can also toast them in an oven or toaster, or on a grill pan or griddle.
- Top each slice of toasted bread with the marinated tomatoes. Sprinkle sea salt and fresh basil over top.
- Finish the grilled bruschetta with a drizzle of Garlic Fused Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
