This recipe is made for summer, make no mis-steak! Our Salt & Pepper Mustard is a great companion to grilled meats and veggies – personally, we love it alongside a juicy steak. Pair with grilled zucchini and a simple tomato salad tossed in a bit of Mauro EVOO and enjoy!
Serves 4 people
Ingredients
- 2 Zucchinis, thinly sliced lengthwise 1cm thick
- Virgin Olive Oil – Olearia San Giorgio
- 1 tsp Mayan Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Black Peppercorns
- 4 tbsp Salt & Pepper Mustard – Sarafino
- 4 Steaks (whichever size and cut you prefer)
Ingredients for Tomato Salad:
- 3-5 large tomatoes, cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 Spring onions, chopped
- 1 English cucumber, chopped
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 4 Tbsp Mauro Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Olearia San Giorgio
- ½ tsp Mayan Sea Salt
- ½ tsp Oregano
DIRECTIONS

Prepare the steak:
- Rub in Virgin Olive Oil. Season steak with Mayan Sea Salt and ground black pepper.
- Grill steak to desired doneness.
- Remove steak from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Drizzle Mauro Extra Virgin Olive Oil on top and add a dollop of Salt & Pepper Mustard on the side.

Prepare the zucchini:
- Mix sliced zucchini in bowl with Virgin Olive Oil, Mayan Sea Salt and ground black pepper until coated.
- Place zucchini directly on grill over indirect heat at 400F. Grill for 2 minutes on each side, then remove from heat.

Prepare the tomato salad:
- Put tomatoes, spring onion, cucumber, basil, sea salt and oregano in large bowl. Drizzle Mauro Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Enjoy!
