CHESTNUT FLOUR BISCUITS

A Thanksgiving Side you won't regret! Great with olive oil, soup or gravy! 
Chestnut Flour Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Chestnut Flour – Sarafino
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp cold butter
  • 3/4 cup milk or buttermilk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix flours, baking powder and salt. Cut in butter. 
  3. Add milk and stir until dough forms. 
  4. Roll, cut, bake 12-15 mins or until golden.
